“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
Matthew 28:6 (NIV)

Welcome—this is a new beginning.
The resurrection of Jesus is not just an event we remember once a year—it is the foundation of our hope every single day.
When the tomb was found empty, everything changed.
Fear gave way to joy.
Doubt gave way to belief.
Death itself was defeated.
The Gospel of Matthew was written by Matthew, a former tax collector who became a disciple of Jesus. Writing primarily to a Jewish audience, he emphasizes how Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecy as the promised Messiah.
This verse invites us to come and see—to witness the truth that Jesus is alive. And because He lives, our lives can be made new.
😇 Apply It To Your Life
Reading Scripture is the first step; applying it to your life is the next. Here are three ways to integrate it into your life.
✝ Live in the Reality of the Resurrection
Jesus is not distant or gone—He is alive, and His presence is active in your life today.
🕊 Step Forward in New Life
The resurrection is an invitation to leave behind what once held you back and walk confidently into the life God has for you.
🌿Carry Hope Into the World
Because Jesus overcame the grave, you carry a message of hope that the world desperately needs.
🙏 Let’s Pray Together
Oh Dear God,
In Your endless love, You gave us Your Son, who lived among us, faced suffering, and gave His life to forgive our sins.
Help us understand the deep meaning of His rising from the dead, where He defeated sin and death, winning eternal victory for everyone.
He has risen, and we can celebrate his victory over evil and our gift of salvation.
Let his resurrection inspire me to go out into the world as a beacon of your love and kindness, sharing the Good News and the story of your amazing grace.
He is risen, He is risen indeed.
Amen.
👍 Have a Blessed Day Out There!
The resurrection is more than a moment—it’s a calling.
Jesus didn’t rise so we could simply reflect; He rose so we could follow.
He calls us to live differently, love boldly, and go into the world sharing His truth.
As He commanded, we are to make disciples of all nations—bringing others into the same life-changing relationship with Him.
This is just the beginning.
In the coming weeks, this newsletter will continue to grow and evolve with one purpose in mind: to bring you closer to God—through Scripture, reflection, and practical ways to live out your faith every day.
Let’s walk this journey together.
Quentin.
